Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using Trace8, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Trace8 for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, keep passwords and project tokens confidential, and promptly revoke credentials you believe are exposed. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and tokens.

Permitted use

You may use Trace8 to collect, analyze, and debug test runs you are authorized to process. You must not:

• upload unlawful content or data you do not have permission to process;
• probe, disrupt, overload, bypass limits, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or another tenant;
• share project tokens publicly or use the service to distribute malware or secrets; or
• reverse engineer the hosted service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your content

You retain ownership of test data and artifacts you upload. You grant Codezela Technologies a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate and support Trace8. You are responsible for configuring Playwright so secrets and unnecessary personal information are not included in logs or artifacts.

Service operation

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable limits, and perform maintenance. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent retention. Export important data and keep the original test artifacts required by your organization.

Third-party services

Trace8 depends on services such as Vercel, Neon, Backblaze, Slack, npm, and Playwright's trace viewer. Their services and terms are separate from ours, and we are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our control.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Trace8 and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security threats, abuse, legal requirements, or non-payment if paid plans are introduced. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

Trace8 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Codezela Technologies disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
